Keeping a Good Roof Over Your Head in Deer Park—Made Simple

best residential roofers in Dee Park TX

If you’re like most homeowners in Deer Park, you’ve got a lot on your plate—work, family, maybe a few hobbies if you’re lucky. And unless your roof is leaking or missing half its shingles, it probably isn’t top of mind. But here’s the thing: that roof plays a big role in protecting what matters most—your home, your belongings, and your peace of mind.

With Deer Park’s hot summers, windy storms, and occasional hail events, your roof takes a beating. That’s where Fitz Roofing comes in. Based in nearby Houston, we know the local weather patterns and the common issues homeowners in this part of Texas face. We’re not just another residential roofing company—we’re the team you call when you want solid advice, expert craftsmanship, and no-nonsense service that fits your needs (and your budget).

Whether you need a quick repair or a full roof replacement, we offer residential roofing services that are done right—the first time.

The Roofing Services We Offer in Deer Park

When it comes to roofs, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. So here’s a breakdown of what we do and how it can help you:

Full Roof Replacements That Don’t Cut Corners

Roofs don’t last forever—especially when they’re up against Texas heat and storm season. If your roof is over 15 years old or has visible damage, a replacement might be the most cost-effective move in the long run.

At Fitz Roofing, we use proven materials from trusted manufacturers like CertainTeed, GAF, and Owens Corning. These aren’t fly-by-night brands—they’re long-standing industry leaders. We’ll walk you through options like:

  • Budget-friendly three-tab shingles
  • Durable, attractive architectural shingles
  • Luxury shingles with high-end curb appeal
  • Impact-resistant shingles to help handle hail and wind

We’re not here to upsell—we’re here to help you make a decision that’s smart for your home and your wallet.

Roof Repairs That Fix the Real Problem

Not every roof issue calls for a full replacement. Sometimes it’s just a few cracked shingles, a busted pipe jack, or a section of flashing that didn’t survive the last big storm.

Our team performs thorough inspections and explains what we find in plain English. We’ll check all the usual trouble spots—valleys, chimneys, skylights—and get your roof back in shape without the runaround.

Common repair issues we tackle include:

  • Missing or loose shingles
  • Small leaks or water stains
  • Storm or wind damage
  • Flashing that’s cracked or rusted
  • Sun-related wear and tear

If it’s fixable, we’ll fix it—and we’ll tell you exactly what we’re doing and why.

Metal Roofing for Durability and Efficiency

If you’re looking for something longer-lasting and lower-maintenance than asphalt, metal roofing might be worth a look. It costs more up front but saves money in the long run—especially in a climate like Deer Park’s.

We install:

  • Standing seam metal roofs
  • Corrugated panels and exposed fastener systems
  • Metal shingles (depending on availability)
  • Aluminum, copper, and steel options from McElroy Metal

Metal roofs hold up well in high winds, reflect heat, and can even lower your energy bills.

Tile and Slate Roofing That Stands Out

Want a roof that combines beauty and function? Clay tile, concrete tile, and slate roofing have all the charm—and all the staying power.

We work with:

  • Clay tile roofs for a classic, warm look
  • Concrete tile for added strength and style
  • Natural slate for timeless appeal
  • Synthetic slate (like Decra) for lightweight durability

These options may cost more upfront, but they often last decades longer than standard roofing.

Fitz replaced our roof recently and the entire process was smooth and professional. We received personal attention from the owner, Korey, and communication was great throughout. The roof was completed in one day, and it looks great. Fitz also worked directly with our insurer without a hitch. No complaints - we highly recommend Fitz!

I don’t like doing things like this but here goes…… we used Fitz Roofing in December 2020 to replace the roof on our house. As you all know thats not cheap. Well we haven’t had to contact them for anything until now. We have a few shingles lifted, issues with the flashing, and our roof was never certified through windstorm, not sure how that got past me and my insurance company, but it did. My main concern is the certification. We have tried to contact them through several phone calls, Facebook, their website, emails, and even left voicemails on the owners phone, been doing this since last week. I even tried to schedule an appointment through online booking. Someone on the Fitz Roofing team text me, I called the number no answer, then I texted the number with a message stating what I needed- no response! This is no way to run a business. I understand things happen and slip through the cracks but own up to your mistake and take care of it, don’t avoid the customer. Maybe they’ll get my message now. 😊

Ver interesting interactions with this company. Called bc they put a roof on a house(in 2020) I purchased. 4 years into a supposed 5 year warranty. Called asked them to come out. They explained that I should’ve called to transfer the warranty when the home was purchased, they wouldn’t cover anything that was “an act of God” unless something like the flashing was wrong. said okay, understood, regardless id like to see what the original roofers have to say about this leak I have in my roof since they were the ones doing it. Had a gentleman from Tennessee office come. Never once shook my hand, never even greeted me, very unprofessional. He told me the flashing was improperly installed (something that the office lady said would be covered under the warranty) Verbally quoted me something for that repair and a few other concerns he had. I asked him for a written quote. He said he’d get it to me by the end of the day. Never came. Weeks passed. I called the office was told that roofer was hospitalized and another guy was taking over his clients. STILL NO CALL. These folks are probably those insurance chasers that’ll change roofs for that money and do a horrible job doing so. I could’ve been an easy job, was willing to pay for the work done. RUN. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. A roof that has issues in 4 years means shady work and even shadier customer service.
